Telugu Tech Daily collects only what it needs to run your account (email, display name), your listening progress and library to sync them across devices, and anonymous usage counts to rank content. Passwords are stored only as salted argon2id hashes. You can export or permanently delete your data at any time from your account page.
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. That counting uses no cookies and does not follow you across other websites.
With your permission only, we also use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies to measure visits (IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4; advertising features and Google signals are switched off). If you say no, nothing from Google Analytics is loaded. Search: we keep what you searched (the words, and for voice search the text your browser recognised, never the audio), what we understood and which result you opened, to improve search for everyone. It is linked only to a scrambled per-visit code, not to your account, and is deleted after 90 days; only daily totals per search phrase are kept longer. Voice search: where your browser has its own speech recogniser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Android), it turns your voice into text and may send the audio to your browser's maker (for example Google in Chrome); we receive only the text. Where it has none (for example Firefox), the recording is sent to TeluguTechDaily's own servers, turned into text there by our own speech model, and deleted immediately: it is never stored, never sent to anyone else, and never used to identify or profile you. We keep only the recognised text, how sure the recogniser was, and simple sound-quality measures (such as “too quiet” or “noisy”). If you are signed in, search gives a small, capped boost to shows and topics you follow or recently listened to (your last 200 plays, kept 180 days, deleted with your account); it never hides other results.
